Our Favorite New Features of the Proficient® Protege Series Outdoor Speakers | September 15, 2021

We’re beyond thrilled to introduce the latest line in our outdoor speakers: The Proficient® Protege rock and planter loudspeakers. These speakers are designed to blend into their surroundings while bringing our renowned high-quality speaker sound to outdoor spaces.   

Crafted and built with a focus on being heard over seen, these rock speakers offer the perfect solution for anyone looking to bring the vibes outside. The innovative new Cone-Forward interior design offers enhanced sound thanks to internal speaker placement. Other exciting new features include:  

  • Military-grade construction custom fiberglass cabinet that is weatherproof and offers corrosion resistance tested under the harshest climate conditions possible  
  • Ultra-durable protective no-fade colors and finishes that are made to last 
  • Natural Geo-Realistic cabinet textures with micro-perforated grilles designed to blend in with outdoor surroundings 
  • Living room quality audio with Cone-Forward driver and crossover design that positions the speaker as close to the grill as possible for crisp, clear sound  
  • Advanced driver materials TCC woofers and Teteron tweeters reproduce Hi-Fi audio accurately 
  • Optimal tweeter alignment – Si models feature tweeters angled twenty degrees up from the woofer for improved coverage and better sound dispersion 
  • Customized electronic dividing network inside cabinet precisely distributes music to the woofer and each tweeter (Si models only) 

The two new Proficient rock speakers (PAS-RS6 and PAS-RS8i) are available in granite, speckled granite, sandstone and shale brown. The new planter speaker (PAS-PS6Si) is available in a natural weathered concrete finish and is designed to be used with live plants.  

The Proficient Protege rock and planter outdoor landscape speakers are now available from authorized distributors.
