Not every outdoor environment can accommodate an in-ground outdoor subwoofer for an outdoor sound system, so in addition to the traditional In-Ground Subwoofer, Protege introduces an all-new Hardscape above-ground Subwoofer to add to your landscape speaker system. Ideal for locations such as brick or stone patios, second-floor balconies, areas with extra rocky soil or ground with a high water table. The Hardscape Subwoofer includes stainless steel mounting screws for surface mounting and aluminum tent stakes for securing in a garden bed.

Proficient Protege satellite speakers feature the same ‘quick connect’ design found in our high-performance Landscape audio system series. We even include a handy hammer cap that protects the stake from damage when pounding it into the outdoor area ground. This allows for the speaker to be attached to the stake after the stake is inserted into the ground attachment to the stake. Once attached, the speaker can be rotated and tilted to the optimal angle, then tightened into place with the ergonomic thumbscrew.
